I had an issue with my NFS mounts not playing. I found this information that was useful for improving speed:

I add "rsize=8192,wsize=8192" to my net.mount NFS line and things are playing now. The full command will look similar to this:

"xmount 192.168.0.3:/mnt/imedia NFShare nfs rsize=8192,wsize=8192"

Some people were able to push their settings to rsize=32768 (as found here: http://wdtvforum.com/main/index.php?topic=155.0). This could be because of a faster/better switch or GigE?

ALSO!! Make sure you are connecting the USB ethernet adapter DIRECTLY to the WDTV (not through a USB hub)!!
